Asbestos Surveys Essex recently completed an asbestos management survey to a three-bedroom bungalow in Leigh-on-Sea, Essex, providing the homeowner with a detailed assessment of potential asbestos-containing materials throughout the property.

Leigh-on-Sea is particularly interesting from an asbestos surveying perspective because its housing is far more varied than the town’s well-known coastal character might initially suggest. Garages and outbuildings also require consideration where they fall within the agreed survey scope. Older asbestos cement roofing products are still encountered on residential garages and sheds throughout Essex, including properties within established neighbourhoods around Leigh-on-Sea.

Where suspect materials were identified at this property, appropriate representative samples were carefully obtained and sent to a UKAS-accredited laboratory for analysis.
