Asbestos Surveys Essex recently carried out a comprehensive asbestos management survey to a four-bedroom residential property in Witham, Essex. The survey was undertaken to identify any accessible asbestos-containing materials within the house and provide the property owner with a clear record of their location and condition for future management.

The survey also identified an older toilet cistern that required sampling. Moulded products containing asbestos were historically manufactured for use in certain sanitary installations, and a representative sample was taken so its asbestos content could be accurately determined.
All samples collected during the Witham asbestos survey were submitted for laboratory analysis to establish whether asbestos fibres were present.
The location, condition and extent of the suspect materials were recorded within the completed asbestos management survey report, together with the relevant laboratory results and recommendations for their ongoing management where required.
