Objective:

To conduct a commercial asbestos management survey at a multi-use commercial premises in Grays, Essex, in compliance with the Control of Asbestos Regulations 2012 (CAR 2012). The survey was commissioned by the client to identify any potential asbestos-containing materials (ACMs) across the property and ensure safe future use and ongoing maintenance. Scope of Work:

Site Inspection: Our qualified asbestos surveyors performed a thorough non-intrusive inspection of all accessible areas, including:

  • Recommendation: Monitor and label, avoid disturbance unless removed by a licensed contractor
• Composite Materials
  • Found in suspended ceiling tiles and partition boards
  • Condition: Good
  • Risk Level: Low
  • Recommendation: Retain in place and monitor; safe if left undisturbed
• Asbestos Insulating Board
  • Found in internal wall panels and boiler cupboard linings
  • Condition: Moderate – minor surface damage
  • Risk Level: Medium
  • Recommendation: Encapsulation or removal prior to any intrusive works
